That sounds fine. I don't think margies grow as fast as fulica do.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but whatever... I've obtained my first Margie 4 days ago and I named him Bellman. Anyway, since he got here he's been eating constantly(and I pretty much mean that literaly). He's young about 6 cm but he eats at least 5 times more than my 2 Iredalei and 6 helix pomatia put together. He hasen't even left the food plate! He's not sick or anything, I think, he has a lot of energy when I handle him but when I put him down in the tank he goes straight to the food, he even sleeps there. In these four days he has grown almost 4 centimeters in shellgrowth and almost one in shell lenght.
Is it normal for margies to grow this rapidly and have such apetite? could it be harmfull for him to grow this fast? I've never noticed any problems with fastgrowing helixes but as I also keep tortoises, wich are very sensitive to fast growth rates, I get a little concerned.
Should I continue to give him more food when his done or try to limit his food suplies? Maybe it's just good that he has such an apetite and that he in time will get bored of food and explore his new home.
Sorry if this is hard to understand, I'm not that comfortable with the language. Anyway, I'd be happy to get some feedback
-Emil.

The problem solved itself, after five days of constant eating he went for some calcium and then started exploring the new tank
