Hi, I cant be any help as i have only one baby GALS who is a week old. two days ago he was wizzing over the top of the lid always upside down but he has burrowed himself now since last night and does not want to come out even after i've sprayed him. I hope to get a friend for him next week.

Mine seem to have times of day when they are more active i.e. early morning and in the evening. Actually, they could be charging around all night in secret. They certainly eat plenty! I know fulicas are not meant to need heat mats but mine have cheered up no end since I put the smallest size mat on their tank.

A matt is an idea, just worried though that in this warm weather they will get too hot! Mines just a week old, Last night he was wizzing about and he has now burrowed again! Hmm, its hard to know if they are ok especialy when im new to this, but from what i can tell its quite normal for them to burrow ( I think). Im excited about getting me new baby snail tomorrow!

Hi, its about 23/24 in my room and the humidity in the tank is about 84. Keeping the new one seperate for a week just to give my baby another week of growing as the new one is a bit bigger. The new one a jade is very quite, but only arrived yesterday so i guess it will take a while to get use to its tank. Ive also bought some organic compost, but its full of bits of bark ect so i dont think it likes it. Should the tanks be hotter than that?
