Are you in the US? if so, you shouldnt have much trouble finding them, ive seen them advertised by US sellers quite a few times. Ive had them available once or twice, but they are much more difficult to get in the UK, and dont travel very well unfortunatly.

Thanks a lot.
I've been looking around for a Giant African Land Snail also, if I can't find the Banana Slug, but supposedly they're illegal in the US.
But if I could find one.... it would be awesome.
;D

If you are in California, you can walk through the nearest redwood forest and find them crawling around on the ground.

I think coyotes idea is the best one, although quarentine them 4 a bit in case of any nast bugs. Also have you tried a native snail i don't think its illegal to keep them in the us, although not really sure about snail laws apart from the no GALS on outside the uk. And u r not weird, look at all the snail lovers, i mean they r very much alike apart from the shell, i love snails more, although i like slugs, but i must admit i wouldn't keep them, i don't like the lack of shell, makes picking one up very, umm, squelchy , lol, but they r still cute, although i think i'll stick to snails. ;D P.s. post pics when u get 1 plse!

There should be some state, county or regional parks with redwoods not too far from you, then. A walk in cool, rainy or damp weather through them ought to be an opportunity to see the creatures out and about on the ground.

How on earth does a hamster's exercise ball break an oven? It was an old over handel that my sis broke off when she visited, and glued back on, without telling me ( she told me the day before hammy happened ), hammy got a run up and smaked into it, handle flew off and hit me as i walked in the kitchen, she is very strong when she is running in the ball, i had to pay £10 for a extra strong one cos she kept breaking them, lol. She chases my aunts dog ( a boxer ) round the room when she visits, and she is very strange ( and evil ). the only person that can hold her is me, she bites everyone else, ll, and she still nips me if i annoy her.

I'll bet she's not really evil, she's just misunderstood.
