HI, I bought 8 spixi snails a few months ago and they are mating like crazy with beautiful babies with perfect shells but the parents still have cracked poor looking shells! I add cuddlebone to their tank, calcium in their food, and a sprinkle of calcium in their tank but still nothing is working, what can i do to make them shiney and new?

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with that species. Perhaps someone else can chime in with advice?
For how long have you been giving them the extra calcium sources?

if their shells have lost the colour pigment, as far as i know you can't get it back...it is only the new shell growth that will be shiney and bright. if they are cracked then the shells might have healed in the inside, just not shown that they have healed on the outside. hope this helps =]
