I find snails are like children - they will do nothing for ages then have a growth spurt As long as he is eating a little I wouldn't worry too much at present. You've probably tried these already, but I feed fussy snails thin slices of sweet potato, weetabix-type (salt free) breakfast cereal soaked in water, mushed up banana mixed with honey and powdered cuttlefish. I haven't met a snail yet that can resist these! Dandelions are also good - snails seem to love them and they have a high calcium content. Just make sure they are picked from a contamination-free area. Snails can stop eating if they feel threatened - just like people who get stressed. Is he disturbed frequently? Does he have somewhere to hide? And going back to basics - is the tank warm and humid enough? Some snails seem to be able to cope with slightly drier and colder environments whereas others are very fussy

Well, he has 3 tank friends, gary, ruby and sam, but they dont mess with him, they just leave him to do what he likes, and yes the tanks always usually at 19-21 and the humidity is always 80-100, and theres pots, bark and lots to hide in and under, he doesnt even come out much, he finds a spot and stays there until i offer him food. But thanks, ill have a go at some foods you sad but hes so hard to look after,.

have you ground cuttelfish over his food and tried different foods with him??, it might be an idea to keep him seperated for awhile to see how much he eats and make sure he is getting a good chance at the food. Dont fret too much i have some A.Fulica Hamillei i got around two months back some have grown like wildfire but two are still tiny its of no concern, just like people they come in different shapes and sizes.
Hope this helps Ade
