I have found small white worms in the droppings from my albino reticulata, they are both eating ok but seem a bit sluggish (excuse the pun!) Im sure they are coming from inside the snails, I use coir as a substrate not peat or compost. It is usual to worm other pets, does anyone out there know if there is a way to do this for snails?

Pumpkin seeds would seem to be your best bet my friend. other than this there seem to be very few worming agents for snails. Hope this helps Ade

There have been a couple of people on this board who have used pumpkin seeds successfully to get rid of worms. I put whole seeds in my tank, and I see the rasp marks on them. Your snails may prefer the seeds ground up, however. Other foods that kill worms are garlic, raw cayenne pepper, pomegranate juice and the seeds of white Smyrna (or Calimyrna) figs. Pumpkin seeds seem to be the best bet for snails. Good luck!

I'd grind some pumpkin seeds and put that in the tank, and some whole ones, so they can go for which they want. I like to give mine some every 2 or 3 weeks to help stop worms

And if they don't seem inclined to nibble the pumpkin seeds, put some ground up in something soft that they already like - mashed banana, oat mash, etc.
