I don't think it would be harmful but could be tricky to grow in a tank. Thank you for your feedback. Are there any plants that you would recommend? Anything that grows in low light conditions and doesn't mind humidity would probably be fine, like ivy, ferns, philodendron, fittonia, pilea etc. Be aware that the snails may try to eat some plants and if they like them they may just eat the whole thing!

I do have a few questions, you listed jasmine on both toxic and non toxic lists. Also, I know diatoms algae is fine, many snails eat it (most brown algae and many green algae’s are diatoms).

It is better just to get fake reptile plant because snails will just eat any real ones but plastic ones look good and provide hiding places for the snails.

Hello, does anyone know if gold child ivy is poisonous? (Hedera helix) I’m pretty sure it’s the same as English ivy but I was just gonna ask lol.

It is toxic to ingest, but there's masses of it in my garden where many wild snails live and I've never seen them eat it or have any issues with living by it.

Ahh nvm. Does anyone know if dumb cane can be used for frogs? I know it is toxic to snails, but do you think they would eat it too?

I am also curious about haworthia. Is it snail safe? I know there are small barbs and the edges of the leaves, but they seem big enough and dull enough. Thoughts anyone?
