can a wild caught snail pass it on to a captive bred snail ?

Well as I understand it, the disease is carried by parasites called rat lungworm or something like that, so yeah, its possible for WC to infect CB snails, thats why they should never meet eachother.

I have not heard of a worming method for snails that is 100% effective. Worms can be passed in the poop and the snails can ingest some of it, reinfecting themselves.

i heardthat feeding them hemp regularly makes an effective snail wormer i give mine it mixed with crushed sunflower seeds limestone flour fish food and soaked dog buiskets all mixed up with some water Mine like it
