Hi all, just a general query - as I've posted before, I've got 5 beautiful GALS about 3 months old now. Still not sure what kind they are but anywhoo, they are all doing really well. Could any tell me if it is quite normal to have one that is absolutely massive in comparison to the others? The only reason I wonder is that they are all together until they get bigger and all eat the same things. The only thing different she does that I can tell, is she seems to eat a lot more cuttle fish - would this be enough, or do I just have a hugh baby? Any thoughts?

Well...hard to tell, are they all the same specie? Since as you maybe know, there are alot of sizedifferences between the various gals. (If you got pictures of your snails, you can upload them on tinypic.com and then copy the url link into here)
But yeah, It is possible for individuals to grow bigger than others of the same specie. One of my reticulatas for example is a bit smaller than his brother.

i think that is normal, even if they are siblings...mine grew at a different rate when they were young, but i couldn't find anything that they did differently either. Now that they are a year and a half old they have evened out again and are almost the same size. if they are different species, as bumblebee said, there could easily be a big size difference.

As stated before its perfectly normal for one sibling to grow faster than the others. Unless the little guy starts shooting laser beams from his eyes and making godzilla noises there is nothing to worry about ;D
