Hi, My snails usually both sleep on the walls of the tank or on the roof of the tank, but i have plant pots in and bark, do they not like the stuff in the tank or do they prefer to be high up ? ( im confused ) Also they dont really go in the plant pot could they be scared of it ? And i dont know what way to feed them , would they prefer to be hand fed ? fed on a saucer or in there tank, because the bowls they have are tiny since the snails grew so i cant put them in there and the surface of the tanks got a layer of soil, any help ? Thanks.

Sometimes mine sleep on the side of the tank, other times inside the little coconut shell house (and sometimes wrapped up in the leaves of a plant). They like variety, I guess.
I feed mine on a lettuce leaf or a leaf fallen off either my coffee tree or my lemon tree. Sometimes they nibble on the leaf too, in addition to the food I give them.

Ideally, the best leaves would be those of plants that grow in their native habitat that they are known to feed on (because not every native plant is necessarily non-toxic to snails).
I know coffee tree leaves and citrus tree leaves are acceptable for mine, and they are easily obtained by me as well. Beyond that, I would not want to run any risk of giving them anything that might be harmful. (Lettuce leaves, obviously, are acceptable as well.)
