Can snails have coconut milk or flakes? I included a small amount of coconut milk in a fruit puree / failed snail jello once, and they ate it just fine. It isn't an allergen or a toxin, and they live in coconut husk with the coir, so in my opinion I think it's fine.

What about linseed? Is this good food for our snails ? Nutritions , protein?

linseed contains a lot of oils which can cause digestive problems. i dont know if it will in snails though, i suspect a small amount is OK but not too much.

I suppose they're afraid of turning their faces red? I can tell you what, that's the reason I don't eat beets anymore as well! I kept staining everything on accident (including splashing beet juice onto a shirt and carpet and staining both). So yeah, there can be no more beets in my house! I am trying out GOLDEN beets, root & greens. I'll let you guys know.

What about the leaves of broccoli? Can we give it to our snails?

I gave them fresh dill, fresh basil and fresh mint. The dill is a hit! The rest, not so much, but I will try again.

They still wouldn't touch basil, but I gave them a whole bunch of fresh Italian parsley and it was immediately visited by multiple snails. And funny thing, they also like to hide in it during the day!

In my garden, I noticed my WHITE dahlias had been munched by some creatures. The colored ones are always left intact. Today I brought a white dahlia in the snailarium and it got attacked right away!

I wonder why they like it? Just for you, I picked out a petal and tasted it! It tastes like lettuce with just a hint of cucumber.

In my garden, slugs ignore the passiflora seedlings/young plants but they eat the older plants bug leaves. They love cucumbers but ignore my cucumber vine (though they eat the fallen cucumber flowers) which have not yet fruited. Oh and the slugs and snails both LOVE LOVE LOVE fallen grapevine leaves that are browned, whether crunchy or wet and soft, but ignore green grape leaves!

I just added some fennel tops (smells like delicious licorice!) and 3 snails have woken up to crawl all over it, and I hear rasping! They do love new experiences.

" Mine love new experiences" Huh. Mine prefer to stick to a ridged routine of sleep, poop, eat, poop, mate, poop, make the weirdest faces in the world, and sometimes lay eggs. Lol.

Mine like new experiences too, like meeting new snails, going out to new gardens/walls/plants, new tank furniture, etc. When I first showered them out in thr sun as opposed to the kitchen sink, they looked pretty happy! Even though I thought they didn't like the sun.
