Hello all again,
Due to me being reasonably new to snails, how easy is it to recognise the difference between margies and fulica (especially if they are babies). I'm off to the show on Sunday and would love a margie, but don't wish to buy any more fulica's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks x

it is very easy, margies have an extremely blunt apex and fulica have a pointy one, hold on i'l get some pics ;-)

I'm not sure if it's only fulica's, but (most) young fulica have red stripes ('flames') fulica baby shells: (see top shell all but bigest whorl, and the second largest shell, and on the smallest- but very faint)

I am so jealous of everyone who's going, I wish there was something like this near me, then I could pick up some margies. Hmmph. *grumble*
