What do you guys think about releasing Helix Aspersa back into my garden? At the moment there's virtually no snails out there and no, not because I've collected them all! My Helix Aspersa are starting to lay lots of eggs and I was thinking of starting to release them when they are adults. Is this a bad idea? I worry that they are too tame or that they wouldn't be very good at gathering food. I was thinking of half burying a pipe in the bushes so that they had somewhere to colonise that would be fairly safe and cool.

There wouldnt be any problem in releasing Helix aspersa back into your garden, they shoudlnt have a problem in finding food.
