Hi there, this is not exactly a snail page, but I'd like to post it here anyway: Finally (!!!) I managed to complete my pages about the different classes by writing three pages, one about the shell-less molluscs (" Aplacophora") as such, and one for caudofoveatans and solenogasters each. I'd like to note at this place that not all molluscs without a shell (such as a slug) are automatically shell-less molluscs There was a (presumably elderly) lady who tried to call me (rung up my sister instead) to tell me that she had caudofoveatans in her garden and what was she supposed to do? Shell-less molluscs are exclusively sea living, but she didn't believe me I put the aplacophorans between quotation marks, because they are presumably paraphyletic, but couldn't do without them anyway... Enjoy the read, tell me when I wrote rubbish (am under a bit of stress right now, finding many stupid errors in my site...): Shell-less molluscs ("Aplacophora")CaudofoveataSolenogastresKind regards Robert

I was reading the Caudofoveata earlier this morning, and I remember thinking that if I were to come across these I would assume them to be a type of worm Your comments on this matter in relation to the Caudoveata is a good addition to the other information on the page I feel. With regards the shelless mollusc page, again very good - I'm glad I don't have the job of deciding which animal to put into the 'shelless group' ! Again as always, it is well written and, as always, when reading your pages I have certainly expanded my knowledge.

Hi ness, I also would mistake any of them for a worm... That is one of the things that kept me from writing that page for years. Besides the systematics is more than difficult. I could kick my own a** - I once had the honour to hear lectures by Prof. Salvini-Plawen in Vienna, but could not stay as I had to work. What I could have learned there Anyway the least thing I could do was to put his book in the literature list (which will grow I hope)... Thanks very much for the kind comments! Regards Robert
