Short story of my biggest pet - achatina achatina: I bought it in Jan 2012 aged 4-5 months with a big and bright white scar on its shell. Previous owner couldn't say where and why the snail got its scar... In some time I noticed it was getting more transparent! For now the scar is almost gone!! Sounds like a miracle but still it is like this right now: Here is my second tiger, BTW))) also cuirous and beautiful. Sorry, this photo was made with a flash: The visual part of the scar left on the shell: Tried to size it - the shell is almost 10 sm.

Gorgeous snails! I really like your snail corner, as well.
Lovely story about healing the scar - with better conditions (moisture, calcium), I'm not surprised it happened.
I don't think I've seen Limicolaria before, they are beautiful!
