They fell and cracked their shells, so we let them outside to have a chance at survival. We went and checked in the morning, and they were not in the same place, so we hope that they're alive and well somewhere out there. Byebye, buddies! <3

So sorry about Siegfried and Rona.
Just curious -- did you not want to keep them in the tank with some calcium to help heal the shells?

Thanks. We thought that the shells were destroyed beyond repair, so we didn't want to risk trying to nurse them back to health just to see them die.

Im really sorry and i have just read your post about finding them then i see an update on this one i was really hoping we could see some updates and that but i guess the unfortunate happend and nature just had to make room for some baby snails???

Yep, that's a great way of looking at it. And plus, it allowed for me to get two new snails who probably need care more than they did - Ohm, who you've heard of, and another snail who is repairing its cracked shell.

aww i guess nature has good reasons... actually it does because once: I had alot of H.aspersa's and my favorite one died but a week later i looked under the long that was in there (it looked like a fat tree XD) there were dozens and dozens of little snailey eggs
