I own a tank which is 22cm x 6cm. Is this too small? My brother owns one too which he keeps his snails in. In mine there are 4 snails and in my brothers there a three. Soon I will be getting a new tank and I was kind of hoping to get the same size. But ofcorse I want the best for my snails. So what shall I do. On my website I will be posting this on its forum. Thanks.

I am a not an expert snailey mummy but I would say that was way too small. My babies are not really babies anymore are having a new home very soon. Good luck.

I'm sorry, even if those four are babies of the tiniest species - that is way too small. If you have four adult Helix Aspersas, you should be looking for at least 30x20. If they are GALS, then I would say 40 x 30. I don't mean to sound rude, I just thought it would be better for your snails!

yes those big tupperware bins are very cheap for starting, and a person can easily cut a large access in the top, and cover it with screen, and use it for a great snail bin. in fact you can just keep it laid on it's side and it works great also. in my city the city actually provides for free huge plastic recycle bins also that would work fine.

If species are "small gals" or helix family you can't really buy too big because they are really active species.
