that I think is rather neat, but I am glad it isn't prevalent. although it cannot be a helix with a shell like that really can it?

Its amazing what such abnormalities can occur, lucky he was found I doubt he would have avoided predators very long in the wild.

I would imagine in the wild a shell like that would get caught on all kinds of vegetation. No wonder we hardly see snails like that.
