Hi vallery the eggs will be fine you shouldn't be worried about them the mommy snail laid the eggs where she thought was the best place and believe me its the best place for you to see them hatching ok so whatever you do do not move them as you will end up damaging the eggs and they won't hatch what you could is put a small container on that area and make sure there are no holes for them to escape after they hatched and when they hatch thet wouldnt be all over the tank cuz they will be in the container and you could brush the of with a soft paint brush in a separate container with food and calcium hope it helps ps this worked for me and is the easiest way of dealing with babies after they hatched and welcome to the forum

Hi Valerie nice to meet you I'm not irsh I'm not actually from (Ireland) it's confusing but I'm from northern Ireland which is different it's called northern Ireland cuz it's a part of uk (united kingdom) and we just speak normal English but we are still in ireland its just separated from Ireland you would see on most maps a line coming through.andI'm sure Graham is a popular name And yes it's very exciting to see babies hatch, develop and grow into adults I wish the very best of luck with them just incase you want more info about them then I can tell you how to keep the eggs alive. Ok here goes eggs need to be in moist soil too like other snails so if you could spray them with room tempature water once a day that will be fine but be careful of over spraying them because they will drown and careful not keep the too dry cuz they will dry out and die also when they begin to hatch leave them cuz they will be very fragile and also the first source of food they will be after is calcium they will firstly eat their own egg shells and possibly others who haven't hatched and they will only start to eat veg and fruit after at least a week also the babies will need to be in a moist environment when they hatch too so spray them once a day but be careful if you spray too much they will drown and if it's too dry they will bs inactive and wont eat and eventually die anymore questions?

Hi vallery, welcome to the forum. Congrats on your eggs. I have had some of my snails lay eggs against the side of the tank like that, and I've left them alone. As long as they are not exposed to dry air, they should be fine. Until recently I kept O. alliarius too. They are interesting little snails. Good luck with your eggs!

Heya Valerie, thanks for joining my site and I'm very glad to meet you. Yes, watching snails hatching is very intriguing! Right now I'm looking at apple snails and how they hatch too! I hope you enjoy your new snail family as much as everyone else on here
