Baffbot is a sinistral snail. He is very rare. He is my first snail EVER. He is a regular Australian garden snail. If you don't know what "sinistral", or "dextral," means, Think of it like this: Sinistral. Being a left-handed is not usual, and a lot of people think of it as a bad thing, so "Sin," in "Sinistral,"... Get it? Sins are bad things... (I'm not religious, I just think of it like that =P)
As you can see in the picture, he is left handed. Uh, shelled? But this is useful in the wild; it means most predators can't eat him. As crabs are right-handed, for them it's like you using a right-handed can-opener in your left hand. Snakes can't eat him either. BUT, unfortunately, as this is not the wild, the only thing that's different about him is that he cannot BREED. I WANTED TO BREED IT! I'll start using "it" as it's a hermaphrodite. Every now and again I get silly and say "Good hermaphrodite! Good hermaphrodite!" As I have taught it to carry things in its mouth and it's so cute! *Squee* Unfortunately, it usually just eats it -.-
Anyway, the last thing I ask is a question: Where can I buy a sinistral garden snail? Ebay isn't allowed to sell living animals, and sinistral snails can only PROPERLY mate with its own kind.
EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT I FAILED: It's dextral.
