Ahh it is an Aspersa cool I meant that I couldent tell by the photograph by the way the drawing is realy cool (in the photograph, your snail has a very nice shell. I can see that it must be well taken care of with plenty of calcium) I can honesly say, its the most beautiful Aspersa I have ever seen by far. hense why I was questioning if it was actualy an Aspersa

Ty, 4sticks! I'm planning to make a few more snails, but right now I'm actually painting baffbot's shell And @axoloa Thanks! I feed it calcium, but he's a wild caught. So he won't live much longer, I'm afraid. But I'm going to breed him, on my birthday I'm getting a metre long tank with all the essentials (thermostat, heat pad, etc) so I hope to get more shells like his! I'm going to try to bring albino into the family though =3

sounds great you never know, you may get lucky and he may just last longer than you predicted now that hes in captivity Albino aspersas are very very rare :-? it would be awsome if you could get some however, so I wish you lots of luck in doing so

Aspersas don't need supplemental heat. They prefer cooler temperatures, doing best between 10º and 18ºC (50º to 64º F). Anything higher than that runs the risk of sending them into estivation and dormancy. Your new tank may have a heat pad but you won't need to use it with aspersas.

If you get other species, you will need to make sure that they are all compatible, habitat-wise. GALS types and aspersas wouldn't do well together, because if you have the tank warm and humid enough for the GALS it's too much for the aspersas, and if you set it up for the aspersas, the GALS will be miserably cold and probably too dry as well.
Aspersas, Cepaeas, Otalas, Oxychilus, etc., can reasonably go together in the same tank and eat pretty much the same things, but species not native to Europe who need warmer and more humid tanks should be by themselves in a separate tank.

Just adding to to Coyotes reply.... the Oxychilius may choose to nibble on eggs and and young juvenile/baby snails of a different species if reasonably smaller than them. So with this, it would be wise to not keep the Oxychilus with the others mentioned by Coyote (if you wanted high quantities of eggs to be laid and sucessfully hatch in the same enclosure)

I read somewhere that aspersas can live up to 10 years, so I doubt you need to worry about Baffbot dying anytime soon! Just keep him well-fed with varied diet and calcium and he'll do just fine.
