I was just cleaning out the sub-strait so i could put down a nice deep layer for my snails to lay eggs in when i found: They already had in the (what i though) was shallow sub-strait that i was bound to notice eggs in (or not lol). Estimating they are about two or three days old. I've moved the parents (with my friends parent snail being taken back home) and left the eggs to it. keep it damp and put some cuttle fish and food in there just in-case i get one of those crazy 48 hour hatching I've read about but i'm not really expecting them for a few weeks yet. i'll put the baby snails in smaller tanks when they hatch but i don't want to disturbed them seeing as I'm not sure how long they have been there. anyway! VERY HAPPY SNAIL OWNER HERE ^_^

That's great :') How long have you had your snails for? Make sure that you can afford to keep all of the little babies, you don't ant to get over run with them at the moment, I have 82 albino snails, and there are just too many!

thanks guys!
I've had Topaz for a little under a year and the second snail was on loan to me and has gone back to his owner. and i wont be over run, I'm only keeping one or two from the clutch, some are going to a pet shop, i have a few friends who would like some and the rest if i cant find homes for them are going to the other snails owner my friend James. =)
we're planning on breeding some albinos ourself. James has two that we suspect are from the same clutch. so we are going to breed them (Tom and Hester) with Topaz and Barboosa (not albino) and then breed the F1 generations from the two pairings. it's going to be a lot of work but it's worth it to get pretty albinos with out inbreeding em.

Adorable little pearly balls of slime I'm sure you'll find them homes... put up a ad on the forums, too, when they're of suitable age to be shipped?
