The normal fleshed are gorgeous, but it seems the albinos are now more common perhaps. However you may have better luck later in the year when more people trade snails (there's more trade in warmer weather due to better postage conditions). Good luck and don't give up!

Have you tried bugz2go website? It sells loads of snails and other animals, although not sure if it has any normal fleshed retics because I haven't been there for quite a while but you may try it if you haven't yet

I've tried Zoocenter, bugs2go, brostol inverts, mostly molluscs, every forum I could think of, ebay, the lot. Everyone has tones of albinos but there's not a normal to be found anywhere! Theres a thread on here for Fulica babies but I think they're normal retics, I messaged the seller and asked her if i could see a pic of the parents, but she hasnt been online since Just so desperate to get hold of a couple and they're just no where to be found, not even adults are for sale, it's only ever albinos

thepetfactory.eu/ have some for sale. I've never ordered from them, but plan on doing so when it gets warmer.

It may be worth trying to contact them anyway, just ask in English, you have nothing to loose. I contacted a German site a couple of years ago using an online translator, and I think the dodgy translation caused the site-owner some amusement. Well, he said it was pretty funny anyway and mentioned that he could always tell when folk use online translators, as the results are often amusingly strange! He suggested contacting in English, as many other people in the EU have some grasp of English and will be able to figure out a conversation. There's also Polyped (here's a link to his pricelist), plenty of folk from the UK have bought snails etc from him, so no worries there. However he doesn't appear to have any reticulata at the moment. Still, it would be worth contacting him to ask if he is likely to get some in stock. As for postage costs, you may be pleasently surprised - it's often not much different to the cost of a next day delivery within the UK.

searched that site and found the snails, but because they're adults the price is qiute a bit out of my price range also asked Polyped but he said he doesn't stock or supply them I seriously think I'm going to have to give up It's just so annoying that there are hundreds and hundreds of albinos for sale, but all I want is 2 normals and I'm seriously struggling to get hold of them I just dont know what to do
