Snail friendly gardens and photos for my new site!

I am currently making a snail based website. It will include basic information about snails, information on keeping snails as pets as well as information on snails in the wild. There will be a section on making gardens more snail friendly and I would really appreciate some ideas for this!
If anybody has any ideas please post them here, it might also be useful to other people on this forum too
Also there will be an image gallery, with an album for snails in the wild, pet snails and for good tank setups! I would really love it if any of you could send me some pictures to get it all started off, as long as the pictures are clear! You can either post a link to any photos you'd like me to use or send them to me in an email. (pm me for email adress.)
The site will mainly provide information on GALS and British snails.

you could do a whole section on your site about how its safer if you pull up weeds and plants without useing harmful chemicals [that could kill snails ] . what is the site going to be named ? it sounds intresting and after you have completeted it ,i would like to see it .

that's a great idea, more gardeners need to know about the copper tape to put around their prized plants to repel snails rather than get rid of them, so I would definitely mention that you can put that tape around things you don't want snails getting into.

Planting a "snail garden" would be awesome, tons of veggies and fruits for them to chomp to their hearts content.

A fake owl might keep natural predators of snails at bay so they don't get picked off by a bird while enjoying a midnight snack.

It just occurred to me you probably meant the British "garden", what I would call a "backyard". haha! I think what I wrote still applies though.

Ahh yes copper tape! I'd never have thought of the fake owl but I'll definitely put that in there I did mean the British meaning of garden, but an American type snail garden would be a good idea to put in it!
