Hi! I got another snail after swearing I won't get one until I got a proper tank set up! Yay! Sir Tiny is a baby snail so I couldn't resist him! He has tiny spots like a leopard! Yay! Snail owning again! He lives in a jar because I couldn't really put him anywhere because my tanks had huge holes in them that adult snails can't get out but a baby can get out. I gave him a bit of pet grass. He went into his shell for a while so I started worrying about him because I *Cough* ACCIDENTLY dropped him... On the hard floor... In the kitchen... The extremely dirty at the moment kitchen... I panicked and picked him up but he came out of his shell fine. I think he's just sleeping. ALSO, is moss, like the common moss you can get from going outside, suitable for snailies? I want to spoil him due to his teensy tank. I read about them and it's a wonder they live to an adult, they have so many needs. Will end up posting multiple messages around the house with things like "Feed Sir Tiny before you forget" and "SIR TINY" and "Spray his tank right now or the scary things under your bed will get angry!" ←That was a bit far fetched though. I probably won't. Not the best picture... But he's so tiny!

Hi geckonator , I put window screen on my tanks that have babies because the holes were to big on the tops and the babies would have gotten out for sure. I put down the screen first then the tank top. I actually kept 4 snails I found and couldn't resist but I had nothing to put them in so they lived in a plastic croissant container for three weeks and were perfectly fine and I have moss in all of my tanks. Whenever I give the tank a spray some of them go to the moss for a drink of water. Hope this helps vallery

Hi geckonator , I am sure he will be very happy in his jar. Do you know those little plastic beanie baby cases. I have been using one for my cepaea hortensis babies that I decided to keep, I had taken them out of the adult tank when the adults were loosing color in there shells and it was suggested the babies might be taking calcium for the adults shells. So I put some earth, twigs an ivy and moss in there and they seem to be doing fine. Your little guy Sir Tiny is very cute. What type of snail is he? vallery
