I'm in the process of creating my own website about snails. -I know I started this ages ago but it's only just nearing completion. D: What I'm after is pictures of pet snails, wild snails and tank set ups for my gallery. I'd really appreciate it if people could message me giving me permission to use their photos and then a link to the page with them on. Anyone who helps will of course be credited! I wish I could offer something more...

Hi, Id reccomend you contact Emma from Bristol Inverts and Thomas from landsnails.org. Their email adresses are on their sites www.bristolinverts.co.uk/landsnails.org/Index%20en.php#both have been a great help to me in the past and their always relayable to get back intouch with you. Both dealers keep a fair number of the species in your list and they are both Snail specialists, so they know what their talking about when it comes to the subject. Im sure they would have no objection telling you what they know about many of your species

I've edited my original post about my website- please note I was originally asking for some information as well so the posts may not make sense! I'm now after pictures and thought I'd recycle this old post

Thankyou! Would you like to be credited by your real name of username? Also- for anyone else that's interested in helping, I'm after a picture showing mantle collapse, and one of deep retraction. Any pictures of tank set ups and also snails in the wild would be great! Once I have pictures for these species, the website will be complete! A. achatina A. reticulata A. imaculata A. marginata Megalobulimus oblongus Subulina octona

One of my deceased retics suffering deep retraction. I managed to coax him out a couple of times but he did not eat not eat and just got deeper and deeper. The mantle is still there, just so far inside you can barely see it. Body is obviously very tiny for his shell size. An interesting picture, at least I thought anyway as I'd never seen anything like that before, feel free to use it

Thanks Prowljazz! I'm sorry to hear about your retic Aimee Deep retraction is such an unfortunate condition, I hope one day there is a more reliable cure for it! Your picture will be very helpful though, hopefully when people see it they will be able to decide if their snail needs help before it's too late
