I just noticed two of these had appeared to my oxy box since yesterday. They are oxy eggs, right? Just checking that it's not something else... Do the adults eat the hatchlings of their own species? Should I remove the eggs? It's just two and they were not even covered. Though I didn't check the soil yet. About 1mm diametre, pure white, opaque. My gods the babies will be small...

The babies are very tiny indeed! Oxychilus don't lay clutches of eggs as far as I know, mine have always just left random eggs dotted around. Never had a problem with mine eating each other either. I tend to just leave the eggs and hatchlings alone, until they are big enough to spot easily. My young Oxychilus often stayed under the soil, eating earthworms and earthworm eggs.
