Does anybody recognize this little chap? I found him really really retracted into his shell along with another slightly larger one in a dusty dry crack in my garden wall along with a few empty aspersa shells. It took a good bit of warm water and time to tempt him out. If you need more info, the shell edge has no lip, the parietal wall is the same colour as the shell ( browny translucent) and there is an open columnella. There are approx 6 whorls and the shell is relatively flattish. I suspect he is a waxy glass snail but I am not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated. If they are just normal vegetation eaters I may have a little go at seeing if they will breed but if they are carnivores or egg eaters I will release them. Any help would be appreciated. ;D Attachments:

Glass snails usually have blue-grey skin, I think this may be a baby/young Monacha cantiana.
