I saw some pics of amber snails with really deformed eyestalks and decided to do some more research, this link basically sums it up for anyone whos interested but warning its not for those who are easily creeped out: zombieresearchsociety.com/archives/2084i know its kinda a conspiracy site, but there are other sites that verify it, tho they say that the going into the light is not caused by a "taking over of the brain" but by the snails not being able to use their eyestalks to tell when theyre in the shade or not and also for anyone with pet ambers who have this it says that the eggs can stay in the digestive tract so on top of removing the infected eyestalks (they grow back) ud have to feed the snail a ton of pumpkin seeds for the lifecycle of the worm (supposedly the seeds act as a de-wormer)
