This is the little snail growing large enough to get a closer look at I have never hatched fulica eggs, is he fulica? The shell looks rounder like a garden snail to me.

LOL, Just joined the forum and I was about to post a photo identical to this one :-) Found a little stowaway in with my sons 2 snails....it has now become one of the most pampered common garden snails ever!

One funny thing I've noticed about aspersa babies is that they are born white but apparently gain colour very soon after hatching. I've several different sized babes now, four captive born and rest wild caught. The CBs are still almost white whilst even the tiniest WC is dark. And I don't think the CBs are albino... though even their shells seem lighter. They have gotten some colour growing up. Just not near as much as the WCs.
This munchkin looks quite dark in the photo, but is that just the photo or for real? I wonder if my white aspersas are really oddballs!

What fooled me in the beginning is that his flesh looked albino, it is very pale grey on close inspection. You can see the food inside him.
