Well I removed my margie eggs from the tank, then I got a handful of sphagnum moss and fashioned it into a 'nest', in the nest I put a layer of very damp coir then I placed the eggs in the nest in what I hope is almost the same way as how I found them in the tank, covered the eggs with more damp coir. My little nest of eggs is on capillary matting in the corner of a heated small tank. I am heating the tank to approx 27C but it goes up if the rads are on to over 29C. I have taken a pic. of my nest ;D The second pic. illustrates just how humid the tank is. I have no idea if this will work as these are my first ever eggs, but I think it looks O.K. ;D

Val, my opinion, i wouldn't let them get as high as 29°C, i lost a few of my eggs to overheating and that was only with a heat mat, my tank is kept at a constant 26°C and drops to 22°C at night, i'm not telling you what to do, it sounds like you have thought things through just my op, don't take it personally

I have my fingers crossed for you! I have done something similar with mine. I put vermiculite in the bottom of a little plastic tank, then a layer of soil. i placed the eggs carefully onto the soil, then a thin layer of soil over top. I then but a layer of sphagnum moss on top of that, placed the tank on a heat mat, and put the whole thing into a propagator. The temp inside the propagator is about 22 to 24 degrees, so it must be about the same or slightly higher inside the tank its self.

Yes I thought about using my propagator, decided on the little tank instead but either should (I hope) do the trick ;D

Well, I thought if one tank was good, then one inside another had to be better! LOL
