One of my Cepaea nemoralis have produced a batch of eggs. They were fond under the soil. However, I don't know what to do with them. How shall I keep them until they hatch? Like what temp and conditions? Should I release them into the wild after they hatch, will they be ok?
Thanks,
Sonic

i removed mine from the tank, but you can leave them there if you think thye will be ok, keep them damp, not too damp though, they don't really need heating, mine took approx 2 weeks to hatch and when they did i moved them into a small plastic pot with no substrate as they make such a mess, they do well like this, them i just put food in and sprayed once a day :-) One thing i can say is they take forever to grow, mine hatched 2 days after my aspersa and the aspersa are 2cm whereas the cepaea are only half a cm and hatched at least 4 months old!! anywho, do what you feel is right, and they should be fine to release back to the wild when hatched, the weathers good, just make sure theres plenty of cover and food in the area

give them a couple of days before releasing them, they hatch white yes? when they start to get a bit of colour (in a couple of days) then this means their shells have hardened a bit, that would be best.
