Hello I have left my last batch of hatched cepaea babies in the adult tank because I have had no success keeping babies alive in baby tanks. I can see through the glass and on the undersides of sleeping adults and babies under the adults. So far I have been removing the babies but I have been wondering if I should leave them there and perhaps they are under the adults to keep moisture. Because I would imagine babies can loose moisture fast and die. Has anyone else found this happening with there snails? Does it make sense that the babies are under the sleeping adults for a good reason? vallery

My cepaea don't do this. But I think you may be right, that it helps them retain moisture. Babies seems more voulnerable to dry out. How is the humidity in your tank?
