I've got around 250 eggs from various morph flammea (dark flame, light flame and apricot) as much as I'd love to keep them all it looks like there is no stopping to their egg production, so if push comes to shove and the success rate is high would anyone be interest in buying some? I would be keeping them until they are not so fragile so it wouldn't be right away but I'm asking now so I don't have to crush control population If not then if I have to crush control I will.

I'm currently on a self imposed more snails ban but by the time they've hatched and grown up i'll have moved house so who knows I'm absolutely certain that you will have not trouble finding homes for these guys, they're unusual and very popular, i'm willing to bet people will be clamoring for them Considering as you say they are very prolific yet fairly rare i would guess there's a high infant/egg mortality rate?

I think the first month or so is rather volatile but fine after that, I'm not sure why they all disappeared, I've been keeping mine in a plastic tub with bio soil and dead leaves, moist with no heat and they're breeding heavily. I now have 8 batches within a month and only 4 of them are old enough (I have 10 all together but separating them today) 30-40 eggs per batch but they take around a month to hatch and I'd like to keep them for 6 weeks to give them a good start but I'll ask Fredrik how his babies did

I'll be interested in these depending on if I have the funding ;] How much do you think you'll be asking for them? Congratulations on all your babies!

I'm not sure, what's a reasonable amount? I was thinking about £3.50? I don't know anyone else who's selling them to get a price guidance and even though they're uncommon I don't want them to be out of price range so is £3.50 ok? By the 6 week period at least I'll be able to see some colouring in them.

Awh wow I bet they look adorable! I think that's a brilliant price. I havent seen any for sale to compare either but I was expecting them to cost more so I think you'll have no trouble rehoming them.

I didn't want to take the p*** with the price, Can't really say 'Oh hey guys I'm probably going to have 200 babies spare hatch and I might have to crush them if no one want's to take them on, that'll be £12 each please' lol but I also didn't want to make them so cheap that they fall into the hands of irresponsible owners. This way they're cheaper than Achatina achatina, but more expensive than fulica. I'd love to see these back in the hobby, but not as a disposable means like fulica tend to be

I'd love 1or 2 of each colour morph I love the different colours in snails and the variety just depends on when they are ready to what tanks I have at the time but I have a tank spare in mind if it doesn't get used up in the mean time I'd love to see pics of your adult snails different colours

I'll take a few pictures when I'm off my trip. The adults are going through a growth stage at the moment so they're pink and purple lol but I've got pictures of what they looked like before turning purple, and i'll put some up of what they look like now
