I have spring tails in my tank, and also these little red mites crawlimg around everywhere. I think by now there are probably more red mites than spring tails. I've had "red spider mites" in my plants, so I know how these look like, and it's not them. The ones in the tank are much bigger, but still about the size of a spring tail. In contrast with the previous post, they're not white, so I have 't been very worried about it, but then again, it doesn't hurt to ask. So what do you think? I put new coir recently.
Also, I have tiny white worms that seem to gather in places where the poo is or was. I've had both actually for quite some time now, and since my snails (A. Immaculata) are mating like rabbits, I didn't think they were harming them. Also, the babies (who are in a separate glass jar) seem happy and growing.

I don't know about your mites but you don't have to worry about the worms on the poo, they're some type of nematode that are feeding on the poo.
