I bought these snails as A. reticulatas, but I'm not 100% sure. I had some baby reticulatas before and these new snails I just bought do not have the same light foot with a dark head. The camera light makes it look as though their feet are lighter than their head but they really are mostly brown like fulica. The shells don't seem the same either but I know that can vary. Would if someone can confirm for me.

I agree; they don't look like reticulatas. I would guess A. immculata var. panthera because of the line on top of their bodies, but fulica is also a possibility.

They look like fulica but at the moment there has been rumours of retic and fulica hybrids on eBay and for sale lately but they do look like nicely marked fulica

reticulata/fulica hybrids are either just a case of someone wrongfully misidentifying fulica, or looking to increase the value/novelty of their snails.

I'm 99% sure that they are fulicas, I'm not sure how do go about discussing this with the seller. She has told me that she bought them as babies and were told that they were reticula... Has anyone had to deal with this before?

sorry I haven't had to deal with anything like that. it's a difficult thing to discuss, the seller does need to know if they are selling more snails to others that are wrongly identified. Do you want to keep them or do you want to inform the seller to return them. It's abit more difficult if you do but you can make it clear in a nice way you have experience with different species and you have asked other snail people too to be 100% sure. Sorry I know I'm not much help

I bought the retics / fulicas off ebay as feeders for my skink, here they are They're a bit bigger now, but I'm almost certain that these guys are fulicas. Shaydee, I looking at the shells and bodies of our snails, I think they may be fulicas

they are 100% not pure retics
the retic dark coloured body looks nothing remotely like the dark fulica body. with dark eyestalks and stripe down the back and an almost white foot. they also look less textured
