I've recently hatched some pomatia babies. One of them only has tentacles on one side of it's head. I'll attempt to take a picture of it. I did try to see if it had a fully formed mouth but it is very pale and so small, I couldn't even tell with a hand lens.
It doesn't seem affected and I guess in captivity, free from predators, 4 tentacles aren't that much better than 2.

Fascinating! I wonder if it has other similar anatomical imbalances, such as with internal organs. A pic of the little critter would be really interesting.

Hi, these problemas call my attention, but is not recommendable use these snails for breeding.
