I took some pics of my new family members today. I've never been into small snails really, but I've got some Ariantas now. There's babies and adults. Also some jade pics, lets start with those: Then the Ariantas I've got plenty of these guys but couldn't find all of them when taking the pics, so here's only four of my Ariantas I also found a teeny tiny slug and putting up some pics when I find it :'D

Here's one of my favorite babies of the group. The picture doesn't give her justice, but her shell is almost white.

As you can see, Mannerheim isn't exactly a small fella anymore

If someone could identify the species, I'd be great

Very pretty, unfortunately google didn't help much and I can only identify a few slug species thus far (and that's definitely not any of them). Must obsess more, must obsess more...

I can identify 4 different slug species that live near my house, but that's about it.

I don't know anything about the slugs of Finland, but he looks pretty Deroceras-like. Maybe Deroceras agreste? If it is a Deroceras, it would be hard to say for sure which kind, as these guys are capable of some pretty wide color variations within a species.

He's a mix breed- His dad is a siberian husky, his mom has 50% german shepherd, 25% labrador and 25% old england sheepdog. I've got some more pics of him on my laptop at home, but I'm currenlty at my dad's place so---

Aw, it was hard to tell how tiny he was before you posted the pic with the extension cord. Very sweet little pup, lovely blue eyes. Good luck!

Yeah, they're wc- Our backyard is full of them and it's quite annoying when they decide to eat all of my cabbages and everything else they find.

I wish I had a yard full of snails! We have some ex-runaway slugs that now eat my mom's spinach, though.

My jade decided to lay some eggs a couple weeks ago and they've all hatched now- Does anyone know how old the babies have to be, so I could determine the skin color?

Your puppy is stunning and i see you've got another gorgeous scruffy mut too . My dog is also some unknown mix of things (ex stray) mostly GSD and Collie probably. As for the snail question you usually start to get some idication fairly early on (sorry that's not more specific) it depends on how good an individual is at spotting differences, how fast they grow, if some are pale grey/brown skinned etc.
