One of my big fulicas have a little bump in the middle of his eyestalk. I noted it today. The stalk seems a bit more heavy as usual. The bump have no different color.
What could it be?

Can he still pull the eye in normally?
If you could get a picture of it, that'd be great.

A bump could be a scar, parasite, infection or just a squatted tentacle. There may be more to it, but that is what generally comes to mind. P.S. Not to sound like a nitpicker, but the word is spelt as "bump".

Thanks!! last night, the bumP :-) was gone. I made pictures, so if it will appear again, i will show them. But, hopefully it keeps away
Cashell, thank you that you alerts on my spelling mistake. I appreciate that. But i am afraid, its not my only mistake, you can keep on going with my threats. I'm not a native speaker and also dyslexic. at school I was very bad in english. this is the very first time I have English communication on this level. So unfortunately a mistake can not be avoided.

i wouldn't worry. Snails do all sorts of funky things with their eyestalks it's normal, i see thing like this from time to time and eyestalks with a right angled bend in and all sorts if it's not permenant it's nothing to worry about

you're right, the bump disappeared and if you pay attention to it, each snail have from time to time bumps ore stranges things with their eyestalks. sometimes, during their sleep: one stalk is standing and the other one is very limp, hanging down his face. it looks funmy!
