Hey guys! I think Leatherleaf might be depressed and In need of a friend. I am bathing him but he's not really making a effort to move or anything.

He just came out and i noticed something disturbing! Under his lower tentacles theres like a smaller tentacle built in except ITS MOVING!!!! Im hoping this is normal and not a parasite!!!!

Does it squirm, making S-like shapes? Or does it move slowly and stay straight?

A picture would help, but I'm pretty certain they do not have three sets of tentacles. It may be a parasite or maybe some kind of skin damage.

I'm thinking that its a birth defect because he uses it like a tentacle an it moves like one.

Snails and slugs are sometimes born with weird forked tentacles. If it looks and works like a tentacle and not a squirming worm, you probably just have a special slug

I once had a snail with a forked eyestalk. If it is an extra tentacle he should be fine with it and if you wanted to give him a green tea bath that wouldn't do any harm
