I have three or four cuban brown snails (not sure if one of them is a zachrysia or not) and I really want them to breed, but they aren't. I need to know some techniques to coax them to breed. I change the food twice a day, usually a meal of lettuce, spinach, and carrots, and I heard keeping a lot of food in there might increase the chance of them breeding. So, how did you get your snails to breed?

I saw your last post with a link to an image of your snails, and it looks like they are different sizes. Snails will usually mate once they reach sexual maturity, so you will have to wait for the others to grow up, or catch a few more adult snails, to have successful breeding.

Okay, thanks! I can't find anywhere saying how large a sexual mature cuban brown snail is. My new snail Finley is almost as big as my largest snail, Clint, so I hope they fall in love! Lol

Do you have soil in your tanks? Many species of snails need to keep their eggs somewhere moist, and many start by burying them. If you do not have soil in the tanks, then the snails may not reproduce.
