I recently found a small brown Cuban snail. There's a post of them on another thread. But the bigger one, Simon, seems to loose his grip a lot and fall. I was holding him and he just lost his grip and fell on my shirt. It's happened numerous times and idk why. He has calcium and he eats his veggies but he falls a lot? Is he sick? Is jt common with young snails? Want to make sure he's okay. His enclosures humid and sprayed often so he's not falling because he's dry .

Do you feed your snails a protein rich food? Also, If he is young it could just be normal for him to loose his balance, or perhaps he was extra slippery if you misted him before.

Yes, they will need a protein source then. Eggs work, but I usually use soaked dog treats. The organic brands tend to not have salt and additives harmful to snails.

Ok, like HelixPomatia said I think they need more protein. Try giving them some dead feeder crickets. drowningindemons

Also you can buy mealworms dried and soak them in water, or you could buy them live and kill them if you aren't squeamish.
