Aren't there any cooler places in your house? Like over here when it's very hot, my toilet, basement and bathroom are the coolest. I wouldn't put ice in it. I've read somewhere that snails can go into shock when there are huge temperature changes.

How is the snail doing? I was thinking, maybe you could hang some damp towel or something over his container. Leave some air holes open. Maybe the cold water on the towel might reduce the temperature?

Recovering snails often don't move much. If it doesn't move for a few days, gently pick it up and place it on its food.

its been over a amounth since he stop regenrating his shell.generally he looks ok,he can astivate ,hes eating and calciuming and kinda active,you rhink he is satisfied with his shell situation and choose to leave it like this for now? you think its ok if ill realese him now?
