So i have a achatina fulica and i recently made a new habitat for him the next day i found him buried under the soil i gave him. he does not have eggs cause he's the only snail in the habitat any idea on whats going on? one of my idea is that since its a new habitat it isn't as moist as his old one so he took shelter in the moist soil but i'm not sure if im' correct ill leave him underground for now cause theres also a possibility of self fertilisation so thats another idea. please help im new to snail care hahaha

Probably normal, just going through a bit of stress from moving & also enjoying his nice soft substrate.
