Hi im posting this here because i cant post in the habitat part: i recently bought a new container for my snails its a nice big kritter keeper which gives me a great amount of ventilation but horrible at keeping humidity I have put a lot of sphagnum moss around to keep humidity but its not enough any ideas on how to keep humidity? Also i keep one achatina fulica and three garden snails (white shells) in the container just to let you guys know Front View: Arial view of container:

It has far too much ventilation, snails don't need anywhere near that much and you'll never keep the humidity up with so much airflow. I would cover most of the holes on top with tape or plastic.

Thanks for the info about the ventilation in the tank:) also all the snails in the tank mostly stay on the lid I think its because of the moss. My last habitat for them had no moss just soil and some wood and my GALS would always bury himself now he stays on the lid with the other snails who love to climb. They are also wild caught and where i got them theres no sphagnum moss mostly plants wood and soil so I'm guessing they aren't used to the feeling of the moss on their feet it like annoys them. What should i do or is it ok for him to stay on the lid?

wow nice "garden snail" haha. My snails migrate from the under the soil to the lid frequently, so I think its normal behavior, probably unrelated to the moss.
I have a set-up for tropical snails that require high humidity that also provides good air circulation but it requires some assembly- I cut a thick piece of plastic to the size of a lid for a glass aquarium, and drill one hole in it for airline tubing. Put that lid on the terrarium and it keeps all the humidity in, but fresh air still comes in through the air line (attached to a fish tank style air pump).

You can add loam, it holds moisture well.I think this is not a tank for snails, you can seal the holes Lachey polietelenom or silicone. may be an option su0.ru/LZ80
