I have to update this thread as I now have a few more clues on the subject.
First of all, my statement that Oreo had not reached adult size was wrong.. I suppose I did not realize how fast he was growing. Sorry... Second, I noticed a similar lip (though it had a good form, not like the one on Oreo) on one of my adult snails that has about the same shell pattern, so I concluded that it could be related to this variety of shell colour. I had only heard of black or white lips on this specie, but maybe it's simply another type I didn't know about? Finally, even if the colour is normal, I'm quite sure the deformation is not, so I am still considering the eventuality of certain mushrooms or bacterias, and so I am still following the bath treatment.
Now, my interrogations are about the cause(s) of this and about the treatments possible, if that situation is reversible... Thanks again.

Hello again,
After almost a week of daily bathing and isolation Oreo started showing symptoms of loneliness (low eyestalks and very low activity) so I transferred him into the main tank with the other adults last Tuesday. He never lived in it before but it is the best place I have for him. I keep an eye on him now and I think he's feeling a little better but his activity level is still low. I feel guilty about his situation... I really didn't mean to do him any harm. At least the colour of his lip got darker, so I'm less worried about that even though the deformation we can see on pictures 2 and 3 is still present. I don't think it's reversible unfortunately. I am still wondering about the causes of this problem, so if anybody could give some opinions it would be very appreciated...
Thank you.

I have no idea, but I just want to say that you seem to be caring for him very well. And I'm sure it's not your fault, even if it's the mushroom, because many snails eat mushrooms and have no problems. Xoxo Good luck

Well I've got some good news now! After putting Oreo in the main tank I noticed that he slowly got better, until he recovered fully normal behaviour.☺ I'm really glad that he's healthy now. His shell is still weird but he doesn't bother about it. I will do some more research on that deformation when I'll have time. Thank you for reading!
