Trouble keeping habitat humid?

So recently I bought a new home for my snail Magdalene, and I got all her coco soil in there and such, but up in spraying the habitat several times and closing it off, I'll notice after maybe 15 minutes all the dew from the sides of the walls disappear. I was worried this meant the water wasn't really staying in?? Like it was not moist enough maybe? I'm worried? Is it moist in there or is it not? My house is warm and all and the last habitat (which had eight holes drilled in top instead of slits) seemed to keep the water moisture much better along the walls which I assumed was good.
I've seen many snail owners with my habitat though so I'm a bit lost. Help?

Critter keepers aren't the best at holding humidity in, but depending on the species it may or may not matter. What kind of snail do you have?

i have the same habitat all i did was tape the holes leaving two sides open
