I have alot of snails already and I don't have a large enough container, should I use a cardboard box or is it bad for them?
I also have a empty box of sweets lying around, but I don't have the lid (It's called celebrations). My stepdad bought some bronze/copper snail and slug tape, it says it won't kill them but I don't want it to hurt them.
Should I use the cardboard box, sweet box or still use my TINY glass box?

Snails need a moist enclosure. A cardboard box will absorb the moisture and get soggy very quickly, plus snails are likely to eat the cardboard. A sweets tin without a lid won't keep them inside (even with copper tape) and won't maintain humidity. They need a proper enclosure with a secure closed lid that can appropriately maintain moisture and humidity. You can buy plastic fish tanks or "critter keepers" quite cheaply from places like Wilkos that can be made suitable for snails with a few modifications like covering up some of the ventilation holes.

I would highly recommend getting a small terrarium for them at the absolute bare minimum. As mentioned above, a cardboard box will start to fall apart when wet (which is a requirement for snails). We have three snail terrariums. A 10g aquarium,a large critter keeper and a small critter keeper. The critter keepers should suffice for a few snails. They're dirt cheap, take up very little room, and are easily transportable. I'll post a picture of one below so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. Might I ask what your current snails were already being kept in? Here's a critter carrier.

Get them another terrarium or a big plastic storage box if you want more space. Cardboard won't hold up because a) it'll be wet and b) I have a feeling they'd eat it.

Snails do eat cardboard at quite a fast rate lol we used it as a temporary lid for our enclosure woke up the next morning to snails on the walls! 😂 Don't know why they eat it,but I wouldn't recommend it to hold snails xx
