Hi, ive rescued a snail with a broken shell. He had his shell broken up to his heart. the inner part was ok. He was doing good for about a week, eating and starting to regrow his shell, but today ive found him on his side ,not moving and has very slow retract reactions. his mouth seems to be "out" like he is doing a kiss face. it dosent look like gut extruction however.. Do you have any ideas what caused this ? any ideas how to help him? thank you

That is sad. I hope he makes it. Maybe needs more rest, and place a cup over him to retain humidity?

So sad to hear. Wish I had a useful comment but I haven't. I rescued one a year ago that was being carried off by a Thrush and it dropped him and I'm pleased to say he recovered. Hopefully, yours will do the same.
(The guy in my avatar mating is my rescue)
