Hey! I'm new to snail-keeping! I found two tiny snails outside and I was going to buy a GALS but unfortunately they aren't legal here 😣 so I resorted to finding my own snails. I have no clue what kind they are and I need help with finding out what type of food they need and just what kind of snails they are!! I'd love to own more snails and I'd like help finding ways to get them since I can't be shipped any plant-eating gastropods unfortunately. So I'd love tips on finding them or help finding local breeders that I can buy from ^^

Welcome to the forum! Could you post pics of the snails? Maybe we can figure out what they are. What state are you in (if it’s not to personal)? I was just wondering cause I’m keeping an eye out for good homes for my little snailies since I might be moving soon.
Aquatic snails don’t have shipping restrictions! You could look into getting some of those. They are a little more sensitive to environment then land snails though (nitrogen cycle, water PH, tank size, etc).

How do you post pictures? ^^ I tried but it didn't work!
Also I believe arboreal snails are also legal to ship! I'd love some aquatic snails for my fish tank hehe my pet store doesn't sell them because they don't get sold very well.
Edit: I live in North Carolina!!

You use an image hosting sight like ImagBB or photobucket or something (I like ImagBB because it’s super easy to use). Just upload your photos to the sight, then copy the BB codes and paste them in your post.

Neat, what size of fish tank? What kind of fish do you have in it? You can order aquatic snails online actually, check eBay and Amazon.
Aw... I live all the way in Oregon. That’s sad.
